Hayden Clarke

Director's Assistant

I have a degree in Arts/Professional Writing and Editing from Federation University, where I majored in film. My passion for film started in childhood while watching classic Hollywood films with my grandparents and on other occasions with my parents. I participated in drama classes during my schooling and enjoyed being in the limelight. However, during my university years, while interacting with performing arts students, I became more comfortable writing scripts for others to act in.

For several years, I consciously worked in all departments of film or theatre productions to hone my knowledge in these storytelling mediums. I am a screenwriter with a passion for period drama pieces because they combine my love of history and film.

I completed a diploma in film at SAE, which marked the beginning of my extensive list of short film producing credits and further fueled my passion for location scouting. I find a lot of gratification in helping other filmmakers bring their stories to life. Hopefully, I will become the showrunner of a TV show.
